Dear Philip
I am sorry that I haven't been recently - I AM SO MISSING IT.  But I am setting up my own business and it just so happens that the last 3 Wednesday's I have had to do evening meetings which have been critical.  Today is an example - I have been so much looking forward to the next session but at the last minute I have an important meeting which will go on too late.  I am definitely aiming to come to the group next Wednesday and will do everything to keep it free.  I hope all is well with you.  Deborah x

Life Music in association with Dance of Awareness presents

Moved by Music

Make your own music - move to it
Sunday July 4th  1130 - 1800 with Philip Milburn & Tim Brown.
At Brighton Steiner School , Brighton, East Sussex

Life Music is improvised vocal & instrumental music-making; Dance of Awareness blends meditation, spiritual self-enquiry & ecstatic dance. Moved by Music offers a unique opportunity to explore the relationship between sound, voice, rhythm, music, dance and movement.

At any moment, you could be musician, dancer, or both. Following the natural flow of group energy and process, we shall create a live soundtrack for improvised dancing. Music & dance will simultaneously inspire and create the other, while connecting, mirroring, expressing and communicating our emotions and inner world. Moved by Music is a day of deep fun and creativity; an exciting journey into body, mind, spirit and the music and movement of life.

In the first half of the day we shall build awareness and confidence with music, voice and dance skills, in preparation for the second half, when you will be invited to take more responsibility for your own creative expression as a group. You dont need to call yourself a singer, musician or dancer to enjoy this workshop. Its open to anyone, including complete beginners. Just be willing to discover and explore your natural musicianship & dance and to be surprised and delighted by what you discover ! Anyone can do it and you cant get it wrong !

Instruments provided and bring your own, too.

VENUE:       Brighton Steiner School , East Brighton . Further details on booking.
COST:        45 or 35 if paid in full before 25th April.
