I am a native Indian STHM with 2 boys. I have been here for 6 years and am always looking out for moms/ families with/ without kids. I joined a few groups on meetup, some with Indians only, some with mixed community but either the groups were inactive or they had people from the same area organising something, which was way too far for me to travel with my baby or they would organise something with women only on a Sunday evening which to me is a little bizzarre coz its a family day and I cannot travel 20 miles leaving my hubby and kids home on a weekend. I am starting this group for women/ moms like me who live in or around Bergen/Passaic/Hudson county. I would want to organise playdates or outings with kids or even involve families on weekends. My motive is to be friends with moms who have little kids, share their concerns, advices and do something together. I believe babies/kids should interact with different people to develop their social skills. Playdates, picnics, outings are all welcome. If their is anything over a weekend, it should involve the complete family. I am also looking forward to people who are expecting babies and would wanna make friends with people with children. This group's open to everyone, all moms with kids, to be moms. I am a native Indian Muslim and look forward to meeting people not only from South Asia but all around the world. Please make sure that most activities would be in close proximity to Bergen/Passaic/Hudson.
