If you love books and movies, why can’t you discuss both? I started South Bay Books and Movies because I wanted a club where people get together to discuss books and movies. In South Bay Books and Movies we will be spending time discussing fascinating books and movies while expanding our interests and not worrying about the details.

We will meet every one to two weeks to discuss our book club selection and every three weeks to watch a movie and discuss it afterwards over dinner or late lunch.

We will also intermittently have meetups where it is just discussion based with no particular book in mind as well as meetups where we will play trivia based games based upon books and movies we have read.

Also primarily in this book we will be reading recent non-fiction and fiction as well as watching new releases either based upon a book or simply related to genre we are reading.

There is just one rule: As a member you must participate in some way.That means coming to at least one meetup every two months. You must also respond to all group emails if response is need. As well as participate in all admin. stuff i.e voting on our next book.

A book or movie is always better if you have someone to share it with. So what could be better than sharing it with a group of friends who have read or seen it too? So come on.. Join South Bay Books and Movies Club, we would love to have you!
