South Bay Burner - 2014 Virgin Workshop

  • Jun 14, 2014 · 11:00 AM

So, you’re going to Burning Man for the first time this year, and feeling a little overwhelmed with all the tips, sites, and friendly advice about “how to burn”? Mark your calendars for a Virgins-Only workshop! We’ll start out with some shared pizza, then go on a guided shopping trip for some handy things like 1-ply toilet paper, camelbaks, and emergency blankets! Why would you add these to your packing list? Come to the workshop and find out!

This will be held in someone's home - please RSVP for the apartment number and instructions on how to enter the building. Parking is available at the 7/11 across Fruitdale.

    Hi everyone,
Ankit (AJ) is going to be our host at his apartment for the workshop. We’ll start at 11:00 am , then we’ll order pizza (you might want to bring your favorite beverage). We’ll share tips and confirm rumors you may have heard about Burning Man and the environment, then we’ll head out to Steven’s Creek Surplus to look at the kind of supplies you might want to take on your “ultimate survival camping trip”. The address for AJ’s place is:
1445 Fruitdale Ave, San Jose CA 95128, Unit 425 (fourth floor). Parking will be available at either the 7/11 across the street on Fruitdale, or on St. Elizabeth Drive. Rather than have someone wait at the streetside apartment complex gate to let you into the building, AJ felt comfortable giving the gate code out to you all. It is: #1083. If for any reason that doesn’t work, you can call AJ’s cell phone: [masked] or my cell phone: [masked]-5233. I’m looking forward to meeting you all! RealGirl

Reminder --- if you plan to attend the workshop this Saturday, please RSVP to get the address! It's not going to posted publically so don't wait until Saturday only to discover you don't know where to go ;-)
