Stroller Walk at Rancho San Antonio Space Preserve

Sorry for the late notice on this!

Let's get out with the kiddos and walk to Deer Hollow Farm inside Rancho San Antonio Space Preserve! They have goats, sheep and other animals that the children will probably love to see. It's about a one mile walk to get to the farm.

Here is more information (including directions further down on the page):

It looks like they only have the animals out until 3pm (except Wed.), so I am thinking noon would be good. Hopefully this will work with nap schedules.

Let's meet up in the parking lot before walking. If you're late, no problem, you can catch up with us at the farm. Thanks to Amanda and other moms for the suggestion!

I'm also going to schedule another meetup here on an upcoming weekend day so that some of the working members can attend.

Terrain can be rough up there. Umbrella strollers might be tricky because you'll need to use both hands.

Can't make it tomorrow. Have a great day! Love that park. It is close to where I grew up.

Oh this sounds AWESOME!! My regular stroller is packed in storage right now so all I have is a super cheap umbrella stroller, but that should be ok right? The terrain isn't too rough right?

I'll be using an umbrella stroller as well. I think it should probably be fine. The main entry path that we will be using gets so much traffic, I doubt that it will be very rough for strollers. There is the option of walking on paved road almost all the way to the farm if the dirt path turns out to be too bumpy.

I'm actually sort of a "maybe" at this point. I hurt my back pretty bad yesterday. Today is ice/heat day, hopefully Tues & Wed I can do exercises. Fingers crossed. My kids LOVE Rancho farm.
