This ride will be at the same time as the one at Russian Ridge.
Tires roll at 10:43 AM from the Monte Bello parking lot.
This will be a Level 3.5 intermediate Ride, so be sure you are up for it.
As organizer, I will reserve the right to change your RSVP should I feel you're not ready for this ride location.
An optional gathering at a local place for rehydration & food will follow after the ride.
We will ride through Monte Bello to Skyline Ridge OSP and then into Russian Ridge. Let's enjoy the spring wildflowers and then head back to Monte Bello through Coal Creek.
Monte Bello is located about a 25 min drive up Page Mill Road near the top at Skyline. If you reach the Stop sign at Skyline, you went too far. It is about 1-2 miles before Skyline on the left. Watch for the sign. We will regroup as needed. Bring extra water. A helmet is required for all rides. Be sure to have your bike ready to ride.
Remember, all riders need to be members of Meetup.com & South Bay Mountain Bike Group. Guest are no longer allowed. All riders need to RSVP as a member.
Difficulty as noted in my Mtn Biking guide book is: "Moderate with several challenging climbs". On my scale of 1 -5, 1 being easy - this will be a level 3.5 ride.
If your not sure where you are going or think you will be late, please leave earlier. It is not fair to have everyone else wait while you get ready to ride.
RSVPing "YES" for a ride and not showing will get you moved to the wait list on the next ride you do wish to go on. Please be courteous if you need to change your RSVP and be sure to drop out early enough to give the more reliable riders a chance to adjust their schedules and attend.
Bring extra water and food. A Spare tire tube and a chain master link should also be in your supply pack.
A helmet is required for all our rides.
Be sure to have your bike ready to ride before you arrive.
