Arastradero Wednesday - *easy after work ride*

Let's Ride!

This ride will be at a casual/social pace for all to enjoy a nice evening ride. Arastradero Preserve in Palo Alto, meet in the parking lot by the information sign. Arrive early as the parking lot does fill up. You can also park on the side of the road, watch for the no parking signs. This will be about a 60- 90 minute ride. Hope everyone will join me for a fun ride. Bring water and be sure your bike is ready to ride.
Tires roll at 6:05 PM or sooner if all YES RSVP's are present. Please be there by the meet time, we don't want to leave without you!

RSVPing YES for a ride and not showing will get you moved to the wait list on the next ride you do wish to go on. Please be courteous and drop out early enough to give the more reliable riders a chance to adjust their schedules and attend.

Ride Details
Difficulty as noted in my Mtn Biking guide book is: "Easy to moderate, with smooth wide trails for beginners and a few short single-tracks. On my scale of 1-5, 1 being easy - I will say this may be a 1-2. This is a great place for a good fun workout.

Remember, all riders need to be members of & South Bay Mountain Bike Group. Guest are no longer allowed. All riders need to RSVP as a member.

Parking notice: if you're heading to the park and you see parking on the side of the road, take it and just ride back to the parking lot. This will save everyone time instead of you having to head back down the road to park.

Rain will cancel. Check this listing the morning of the ride. I will post by 11 AM weather update if we need to cancel.

***Please remember, a helmet is required for all our rides.***

Was a fantastic ride. It exposed my cardio weekness which I needed to know. Thanks.

Collin does an outstanding job as a leader and has genuine empathy for the beginner rider who may be strugling.

    Hey Wednesday riders,
I will not be able to make it this Wednesday (have to be at work late), but Collin and Mike V. will lead the group. Look for them in the parking lot, and have a great ride!

Hey guys I made a memorial book with photos of Gary and blank pages for you to sign, or add an anecdote or whatever you want. Someone will have it for you to view and sign before/after this ride. We will bring it to the service. Still no details on the service but we'll keep you posted.

Thanks so much Michelle ... we appreciate the chance to write in Gary's book. I can't make it to the ride on Wednesday, and I'm still looking for someone to lead it (Amber can't make it either.) I'll update as soon as I know ... I don't want to have to cancel the ride!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
