Santa Teresa County Park ~ STP

  • This location is shown only to members

Let's Ride!

We will meet at 10:00 AM in the parking lot area at the Stile Entrance.

This will be an advanced beginner ride for those of us who want to work on riding rocky trails.  We'll include both the Stile Ranch Trail and the Rocky Ridge Trail, at a relaxed pace.  The ride includes some steep hills, and LOTS of rocks! A level 2-3 ride.

RSVPing "YES" for a ride and not showing will get you moved to the wait list on the next ride you do wish to go on. Please be courteous and drop out early enough to give the more reliable riders a chance to adjust their schedules and attend.

This is a fun place to ride with some great views of the south bay. You have read the past ride reviews and seen our pictures, this is a fun group!!! As always, we will never leave anyone behind, take needed breaks, and regroup often. I am not going to push the pace of this one.

Santa Teresa County Park

Tires roll at 10:13 AM or sooner if all "YES" RSVP's are present.

Rain 48 hours before the ride may cancel. Check here for updates.

For me, this was challenging but very satisfying. Thanks again, Nancy, for guiding us. I hope everybody's tires, chains, pedals and brakes are okay. Here's the GPS track . Maximum grade was 20.6%

Not even three flat tires, one broken chain or two rattle snakes could keep us from conquering the rocks today! Of course the well tuned pit crews and the cool weather helped. Thanks Nancy for leading our ride through the very rocky and sometimes steep terrain at Santa Teresa Park!

OK that was way fun...aside from the climb at the start! Nothing like having good company as you bounce your way up and down the trails there. Fun indeed!! :)
