This should be an advanced beginner to intermediate level ride.

We will meet at 5:15 PM.
Tires roll at 5:30 PM or sooner if all YES RSVP's are
present.

Remember, all riders need to be members of Meetup.com & South Bay Mountain Bike Group. Guest are no longer allowed. All riders need to RSVP as a member.

Ride Description: The west side of Harvey Bear is grass-covered hillsides with fireroads and a few doubletracks. There is a route along the ridgeline at the top of the hill. The trails on the east side are pretty nice. They tend to be shaded with more ups and downs and slight bends. There are no technical trails here, no jumps, stunts, or rock gardens.

The ride will be about an hour and half, 13 miles and around 1400 ft climbing.

Directions:
Bear Ranch Entrance - from San Jose area on U.S. Highway 101 south, take the San Martin Ave. exit. Proceed east on San Martin Ave. for 2 miles. The entrance to the park is on the left, one-quarter mile east of Foothill Avenue.

Meet at the parking lot area just after the entrance.

Please remember to wear a helmet, bring water, and check that your bike is ready to ride. Also remember to carry an extra tube, (or two) and a chain master link with you that fits your bike. Its ok if you need help to repair it, you will have the items needed to keep your ride going.

***Please remember, a helmet is required for all our rides.***

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
