We will meet at 10:00 AM at the Cul du Sac at the end of Carlmont Drive.
Please read the entire ride description before signing up. This is not a beginner level ride.
Tires roll at 10:10 AM or sooner if all "Yes" RSVPs have arrived.
Please be there by the meet time. We don't want to leave without you.
This is a fun place to ride with some awesome trails. You have read the past ride reviews, this is a fun group!!! As always, we will never leave anyone behind, take needed breaks, and regroup as needed. This should be about a 2 hour ride.
Difficulty: (1 easiest, 5 hardest):
Technical Rating: 3-4 -- Narrow trails with steep cliffs, high penalty for mistakes on tricky downhill sections.
Stamina Rating: 2 -- Repeat short steep climbs. Elevation gain: 1600 hundred feet. 7-8 miles total.
RSVPing YES for a ride and not showing will get you moved to the wait list on the next ride you do wish to go on. Please be courteous and drop out early enough to give the more reliable riders a chance to adjust their schedules and attend.
As ride leader, I will reserve the right to change your RSVP should I feel you're not ready for this ride location or you have been a no show on past rides. RSVP priority will be given to current members in good standing.
Required gear; helmets, gloves, eye protection, and closed toe shoes are required. Make sure your bike is ready to ride on arrival. Bring a spare tube, bike pump, and chain links.

From Southbay area:
I suggest taking 280, as the traffic on 101 and crossing El Camino on Ralston can be extremely heavy. (weekdays)
280 North to 92 East
First exit, Ralston, turn right.
Right on Lyall way (Near the bottom of the hill)
Left on Lake Rd.
Right on Carlmont Dr. Follow to the end and park in the Cul de Sac or parking area.
101 freeway north, exit onto Ralston Avenue Exit 412.
Turn left onto Ralston Avenue.
Turn left onto Alameda De Las Pulgas.
Turn right onto Carlmont Dr, at the "stop" sign turn left to stay on Carlmont, follow Carlmont to the end and park.
The trail head starts here.
Travel time from Santa Clara is about 30-40 minutes.
Rain 2-3 days before the ride will cancel this event, as the park tends to dry out slowly.
Will post a weather update by 9 AM
