Santa Teresa County Park

  • Apr 6, 2014 · 10:30 AM
  • This location is shown only to members

We will meet at 10:30 AM in the parking lot area at the Stile Entrance.

The ride will be advanced beginner, a Level 2.5 for this one.  I like to practice riding rocky stuff, and the Stile Ranch and Rocky Ridge trails are the perfect places to do it.  We'll go at a casual pace, and take time to repeat sections of the trail.  Be ready to ride up at least one long, steep hill, as well! I plan to go up the Stile Ranch trail, and down the Rocky Ridge trail.

RSVPing "YES" for a ride and not showing will get you moved to the wait list on the next ride you do wish to go on. Please be courteous and drop out early enough to give the more reliable riders a chance to adjust their schedules and attend.

This is a fun place to ride with some great views of the south bay. You have read the past ride reviews and seen our pictures, this is a fun group!!! As always, we will never leave anyone behind, take needed breaks, and regroup often.

Santa Teresa County Park

Tires roll at 10:40 AM or sooner if all "YES" RSVP's are present.

Directions:

Travel approx 1.3 miles to Fortini Road.

Turn left onto Fortini Road toward the Santa Teresa hills.

At Fortini Road end, left onto San Vicente Ave.

There is a small parking area on the right.

If you're not sure where you are going or think you will be late, please leave earlier. We want you to join us.

The trails were closed to bikes at Santa Teresa today, because of all the rain we've had recently. We'll have to reschedule this ride if they don't reopen by next Sunday. I'll post an update by next Saturday, 4/5, in the late afternoon.

Noticed I'm on the list twice. Is this a glitch? Will this cause to take 2 spots on the list?

I uploaded a photo on my end. No big deal just wanted to make sure.
