We will meet at 5:45 PM in the parking lot at the corner of Highway 9 and Skyline Blvd.
Tires roll at 5:59 PM or sooner if all "Yes" RSVPs have arrived. Please be there by the meet time. We will leave without you. This is a fun place to ride with great views and awesome trails. You have read the past ride reviews, this is a fun group!!! As always, we will never leave anyone behind, take needed breaks, and regroup often.
RSVPing YES for a ride and not showing is not cool and may get you moved off the list on the next ride you do wish to go on. Please be courteous and drop out early enough to give the more reliable riders a chance to adjust their schedules and attend.
This will be about 2 hour evening ride to start the weekend and shake off the work week.
Ride Details: Difficulty as noted in my Mtn Biking guide book is: "Moderate, modest climbing - nothing long. Ragged singletrack requires skill, steep desent not for the timid." On my scale of 1-5, with 1 being easy - I will say this may be a LEVEL 2.5 Ride in places.
From Palo Alto: Page Mill Road to Skyline Blvd. Turn left onto Skyline Blvd. Follow this south until the stop sign at highway 9. The parking lot is on the left after you cross the intersection.
From Southbay area: Saratoga Blvd through Saratoga, it becomes Highway 9 uphill toward Skyline Blvd. At the stop sign at Skyline Blvd. turn left and into the parking lot on the left.
If you're not sure where you are going or think you will be late, please leave earlier. It is not fair to have everyone else wait while you get ready to ride.
Please remember to wear a helmet, bring water, and check that your bike is ready to ride. Also remember to carry an extra tube and a chain master link with you that fits your bike. It's ok if you need help to repair it, you will have the items needed to keep your ride going.
Remember, all riders need to be members of Meetup.com & South Bay Mountain Bike Group. Guests are no longer allowed. All riders need to RSVP as a member.
As event organizer, I will reserve the right to change your RSVP should I feel you should not be on this level ride.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
