Lets Ride!

This ride will NOT be at a casual/social pace.

For those that need to get out on your bike, come on out and enjoy a great place on the coast with awesome views! Bring water and a snack as there will be a chance to take a break to enjoy your ride.

Meet at 3:30 PM in the main parking lot. There are restrooms available. We will then ride to the tunnel under Highway 1. If you park in the Wilder Ranch parking lot, there is a fee to park. I recommend to pay the parking fee in support of & our use of the state parks.

Tires roll at 3:39 PM or sooner if all YES RSVP's are present. Please be there by the meet time, we don't want to leave without you.

An optional gathering at a local place for rehydration & food will follow after the ride.

Ride Details
Difficulty: "Easy to moderate, with smooth wide trails for beginners and a few single-tracks. On my scale of 1-5, 1 being easy - I will say this ride may be a 2-3.

Where: Wilder Ranch State Park, Hwy 1, just north of Santa Cruz.

Remember, all riders need to be members of Meetup.com & South Bay Mountain Bike Group. Guest are no longer allowed. All riders need to RSVP as a member.

Rain will cancel. Check this listing the morning of the ride. I will post by 8 AM a weather update if we need to cancel.

***Please remember, a helmet is required for all our rides.***

1401 Coast Rd Santa Cruz, CA 95060 This is the address. Remember to park in the main lot, the fee is $10 which we should all be happy to pay for the use of this great park.

I'm not familial with the main parking lot on Hwy 1, I've always started from UCSC parking lot. Can someone confirm this address for me? (main parking lot near Wilder Ranch State Park, 1401 Coast Rd, Santa Cruz, CA) or is my map reading skills very questionable? Thanks and looking forward to today's ride.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
