Let's Ride!

*We will meet in front of the Village Store at 10 AM.*

We will ride the trails around the valley and take in all the sights without fighting the car traffic like everyone else. This will be an awesome trip to enjoy the beauty of one of the greatest places on earth.

This is Memorial Day weekend, if you think you may go,

make your plans now!

Yosemite Falls

Tires roll at 10:16 AM or sooner if all YES RSVP's are present.
This will be a great place for an awesome South Bay Mountain Bike Group exclusive event.

Very sorry to miss this. My cat had surgery and I can't be away for the weekend due to antibiotics and wound care.

Will there be a group size limit for this weekend? I won't know if I'm going until January 15th at 7:00:01 AM. Last year, I had four people sitting in front of a computer @ 6:45 am and we failed to get even one campsite.

I was able to get two campsites in Lower Pines with the help of 10 people. (Sorry, I have a group of 12 people going so I don't have space to share.) The group may or may not bike with SBMB, it depends on our hiking plans.

I hope everyone that plans to go is looking for a place or camp area as they will be hard to come by if you wait too long.

I don't recommend doing a day drive to Yosemite on Memorial weekend. It's going to be a nightmare 'inching' your way into and out of the park.

Didn't realize I'd be getting back from an overseas trip just the week prior...sad to miss this one but will have to back out.

Will it be a good ride for a beginner with a Hybrid bike?
