Let's Ride!

We will meet at 11:00 AM in the Grizzly Flat parking area on Skyline Blvd.

This will be an intermediate level group ride.

Tires roll at 11:13 AM or sooner if all YES RSVP's are present.

Please be there by the meet time, we don't want to leave without you!

There are no restrooms here. Skyline OSP is about 3 miles north and has restrooms .

I plan to ride down the fire road at Grizzly to the Canyon Trail. From there we will climb up Table Mountain to Saratoga Gap and through Long Ridge Open Space Preserve. This will take us onto Peters Creek/Long Ridge Trails and back to the parking area.

As organizer, I will reserve the right to change your RSVP should I feel you're not ready for this ride location. Heck, I'm not sure I am ready for this.

This is a great area to ride!!!

Page Mill Road to Skyline Blvd. Then turn left and drive 3.3 miles on Skyline, the parking lot is on the left & right sides of the road.
The drive up Page Mill will take about 25-30 min from the 280/Page Mill area.

From Soutbay area: Saratoga Blvd through Saratoga, it becomes Highway 9 uphill toward Skyline Blvd. At the stop sign at Skyline Blvd, turn right and the parking lot area is in about 6 miles on both sides of the road.

This should be a fun place for you to ride.

You have read the past ride reviews and seen the pictures, this is a fun group!!! As always, we will never leave anyone behind, take needed breaks, and regroup often. Plan to ride for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.

If your not sure where you are going or think you will be late, please leave earlier. We want you to join us for this ride.

Ride Details:

Ray's Difficulty Level: "Moderate with a few tough climbs". On my scale of 1 -5, 1 being easy - I will say this may be a 3-4 level.

Remember, all riders need to be members of & South Bay Mountain Bike Group. Guest are no longer allowed. All riders need to RSVP as a member.

I will post by 8 AM a weather update if we need to cancel this ride.

IT was a very satisfying workout, in some beautiful forests. Fun to be on new (to me) trails. Thanks, Ray!

Awesome ride with a very tough climb. Another great one with the South Bay Mountain Bike Gang. Looking forward to more of these this year.

@Tosa, after trying to get onto the attending list from the wait list and you do... now you change to not attending? Make up your mind.

The "attending" list is getting smaller, yet the "waiting" list is getting bigger...what's the order and how do we get into the "attending" list?
