Announcing a new Meetup for South Bay Mountain Bike Group!

Where: Waterdog Lake Park
Carlmont Drive
Belmont, CA 94002

We will meet at 6 PM at the Cul du Sac at the end of Carlmont Drive.

This ride is open to advanced beginners and better.
Tires roll at 6:10 PM or sooner if all "Yes" RSVPs have arrived.
Please be there by the meet time. We don't want to leave without you.

This is a fun place to ride with some awesome trails. You have read the past ride reviews, this is a fun group!!! As always, we will never leave anyone behind, take needed breaks, and regroup often. This should be about a 90 minute ride, or longer if the group wants.

Remember, all riders need to be members of Meetup & South Bay Mountain Bike Group. Guest are no longer allowed. All riders need to RSVP as a member.

GEAR: The ride leader has the right to refuse anyone's participation due to lack of gear or broken/damaged gear.  Example: Damaged helmets are not acceptable gear.  Be sure to check your tire pressure, brakes and suspension before every ride.

Ride Details
Difficulty: "Moderate, not too much climbing - nothing long. On my scale of 1-5, 1 being easy - I think this may be a 3-4 in places. I think it is a great little park with some tough spots and a few very narrow single track areas.  This is an excellent place to improve your technical skills.

Directions
From Southbay area:
101 freeway north, exit onto Ralston Avenue Exit 412.
Turn left onto Ralston Avenue.
Turn left onto Alameda De Las Pulgas.
Turn right onto Carlmont Dr, at the "stop" sign turn left to stay on Carlmont, follow Carlmont to the end and park.
The trail head starts here.
Travel time from Santa Clara is about 30-40 minutes.

If your not sure where you are going or think you will be late, please leave earlier. It is not fair to have everyone else wait while you get ready to ride. Remember to carry a chain master link & a spare tube.

***Please remember, a helmet is required for all our rides.***
