Take time out to nurture and recharge yourself with a relaxing yet invigorating evening of yoga and meditation. We start the class with yoga asanas (poses) combined with the Hamsa breath. Then we practice the Siddhanath Golden Lotus Meditation, a wonderful technique developed by Himalayan yoga master Yogiraj Siddhanath which reduces stress by bringing the attention from the head to the heart. We end with the Earth Peace meditation to send love to all. We may do some simple chanting, too, if people are in the mood. Please wear comfy clothes and bring a sticky yoga mat if you have one. (Soft mats are available). It would be good to bring a sweater or shawl to be warm and cozy when we meditate. You may sit in a chair, if sitting on the floor is uncomfortable. The class ends at 9 pm. The class is free, but a suggested donation of $10 to cover the cost of the classroom is gratefully accepted..
