How to prevent QA from being perceived as a bottleneck

Happy 2013!

Let's start off the new year with a discussion on how to prevent QA from being perceived as a bottleneck to the overall release cycle.

The format will be like the last one where I'll create a short presentation to kick things off and then divide ourselves into groups to delve into each suggested subtopic.

Cheers!

Jim

Stephen, since this meetup is not really focused on a slide deck (most work will be in groups), it would be difficult to stream. Future sessions that are based on a slide deck will most likely be streamed, though.

Ok, if you could post a brief redux of the discussion, that would be awesome?

I've created an account on google: [masked] If you'd like to help experiment with setting up a Meetup to follow one of the discuss groups tonight, please add [masked] on google plus, and I'll try creating a hangout.

Hi, could you please give more precise info concerning meetup's location. Current map link points to the middle of the road. What's the name of the building? Any particular floor/hall?

    January 27, 2013

    • Rob F.

I've updated the link with directions to the specific building. Please reply if it's still ambiguous.

Note that it's the green arrow, not the red 'A' pin pointing next door.

are the presentations from these meet-ups posted online?

i'd also be very interested in watching/participating via webcast.
