Flames of War: Debacle at Korosten

Here in the pleasant little Ukrainian village of Korosten, a dozen kilometers behind the front lines,  the soldiers of the German 6th Army's 6037th map unit and their security detail start to settle down for some well deserved relaxation after a busy day...what could possibly go wrong?

We will be playing a WWII 15mm game using Flames of War Rules inspired by yet another classic Squad Leader Scenario.

    Greg,

Cool, I plan to attend KublaCon, will be interested in the after battle reports. I'll try to stop by depending on what I end of doing there.

We had a great turnout, with seven players and four of them new to the group! This was a new scenario and it played pretty well for a first go around. The Germans held a small village behind the lines protecting rear echelon troops and the Russians were on a raid to harras the Germans in the rear areas. Both sides had surprises in their setup and victory conditions hidden from the enemy. The game ended with a German victory on turn 4, but could have gone either way.
