What we’re about
Want to just get out and take photos? Want to learn more about your camera? Want to hang out with folks who actually understand your obsession with photography?
Did you come to the right place! We are an informal bunch of shutter-happy, fun-loving camera buffs.
What do we do?
We go places and take pictures of stuff. Any stuff. Lots of stuff. We also hang out and talk. We have been known to do both at the same time. Afterward, some people might drink Margaritas. It's been known to happen.
How far will I go to have fun?
Mostly around Southern California: Orange County, Los Angeles, the Inland Empire and San Diego, but we might also range farther when the mood strikes us.
How often?
As often as possible. We try for at least once a week
I'm kind of new to the game. Is this the group for me?
We were there once and we love to share what we know (or think we know) with eager minds.
So what will all this cost me?
Nothing. Due to changes in Meetup policies, we cannot charge dues.

Anything Else I Need to Know?
We only have one small rule and it's more like a request:
Please don't RSVP "Yes" to an event unless you really intend to be there. If you change your mind or can't make it, change your RSVP to "No."
This especially applies to events where there is limited space and a waiting list. It does not apply general meetings held at the El Toro Library or to the Monthly Challenges.
The rule is only enforced at the event organizer's discretion. If a member repeatedly fails to attend events for which that person RSVP'd "Yes," the group organizer will invite that member to leave the group.
If it happens three times in a row, the group organizer will issue a gentle reminder. After three more times in row, the group organizer will remove you from the group and refund that year's dues if necessary.
