Bring food to share, water, shoes, sunscreen, life jackets, Tonto park pass, Meet at Acacia day use facility follow SEVFAF signs. Boating in the morning for water skiing.wakeboarding, tubing. Noon for lunch. 2 pm for the water relay races. 3pm boat lake tour and another at 4 pm
bring arts and crafts stuff to donate to the underpriveledged children in the Philippines.
Get away from the heat. Cool off at the natural wonders of Canyon Lake. Just 20 to 45 minutes from Metro- Phoenix. Swimming, boating , paddle racing, fishing are just some of the things you can do. It is encouraged to be at Canyon Lake no later than 9 a.m. to find parking and enjoy a full day of fun. The group will meet for lunch at 12 noon at the SEVFAF location at Canyon Lake. Victoria and Chris will provide a map soon to show our location in the lake. Please stay tuned. Also, please bring your own drinks and paper plates, utensils and dish to share. Our Event Host Victoria C. is asking for your continued donations for Art and Crafts to benefit the at risks children in the Philippines. A $10.00 worth of assorted arts and crafts items like crayons, scissors, marking pens, foam stickers, bags of beads, school supplies, paint brush, acrylic paints, fabric panints, clay, water color, glitters, sidewalk chalk, board games, children's books, bible, Cebuano-English dictionary, Tagalog-English dictionary, erasers, yarn, quilt, sewing kit, crichet book, project kits or anything that kids will enjoy making.

Lastly, If you don't want to drive to Canyon Lake, a carpool is available with Earl and Catherine Estoque. You may email them via meetup.com. Click on Members List and find them. Canyon Lake, Arizona Directions
1. Driving Directions to Canyon Lake:
From the Phoenix area to Canyon Lake, Arizona: Take Highway 60 (Superstition Freeway) to Apache Junction. Exit at Idaho Road and turn North to Highway 88 (Apache Trail). Travel 14 miles Northeast on the paved Historic Apache Trail. Just past the second one-lane bridge, turn left into the Canyon Lake Marina and Campground.
2) Need a tonto pass , available at Walgreens, Walmart for $4-$6 per car
3) those who want to bbq can bring their charcoal and fire
4) Those who want to swim can bring their floaties
5) Those who have kayak can bring them or rent them
The kayaks are all sit inside recreational style kayaks 12 foot lengths very stable kayaks. Tandem kayaks are 16 foot old town dirigos also very stable can be used with paddlers of all ages.
Kayak rental is 30.00 for the day.

You can rent the kayaks here and take them to any lake or reservoir you wish even out of state!
Dry bags, tie down straps, universal car tie down kits also available. Two boats can easily be carried in the bed of a pickup truck or strapped to any car or SUV roof rack.
If you dont have any way of getting the kayaks to where you want to go but have a trailer hitch we have kayak trailers available that can be pulled by any vehicle even a car. small trailers hold 1-4 kayaks large trailers hold 1-12 kayaks

6) Bring cooler for drinks as It will be hot that day.
7) we will make a diagram for the parking and where we are hoping to reserve the spots , those who come later may have a hard time to find parking. The closer to 9 am you get there , the better. Best to make a full day
8) Bring life vest ( this because we only have a bit for few people) , water shoes, sun block, sunglasses, all water games , volleyball, any balls, etc
We donthave life vest for children so unless they bring their own, we cannot have children on the boat.
9) Glass bottles not allowed there. Pets must be on leash.
