Our Goal is to encourage everyone in Edmonton to ride their Bicycles from Work/Home or wherever they are at to our Activities. Eating Healthy and Exercise go together. One won't work unless we include Exercise and Healthy eating together.
Spring is finally here and the snow is almost all gone. Whenever we list an activity which would include a Vegetarian potluck or an outing at a Vegetarian Restaurant(there aren't many in Edmonton) the members are encouraged to come with their bicycles. For the Vegetarian Potlucks everybody should have a carrier in the Back.The starting point would be from your work/Home etc. with your Vegetarian potluck on your carrier or whatever and end after the activity is over and you get back to your Vehicle/Home etc.
We usually have a vegetarian Potluck which includes bringing a Vegetarian/Vegan/Raw dish for six people at ParkAllen Hall the Last Sunday of every Month and eating Utensils are provided at the Hall. There is a Stove and you can cook your Potluck there.I Know some members live far away we can always improvise and park a Distance away from the Hall or Restaurant we are meeting at and ride the Bike in. I am hopping we can continue this starting in April and going until October.
I know this complicated for some but let's give it a try.
