The South Florida Chapter of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA)® welcomes you. ISSA® is a not-for-profit, international organization of information security professionals and practitioners. It provides educational forums, publications and peer interaction opportunities that enhance the knowledge, skill and professional growth of its members.
We bring together a wide range of IT Security professionals from the South Florida area. We have members from Ft. Pierce to the Keys. We draw from a wide range from independent consultants to those working in government, public and private corporations, non-profits, and educational institutes.
We meet monthly on the Third Thursday of each month. Our standard location is at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, but about every 3-4 months we try to have a meeting in the Boca Raton area. We typically have a couple of speakers each month. Presentations must be technical, no sales pitches.
We have an annual Hack the Flag/Chili Cook Off event, usually toward the end of the summer, and a biannual Conference, usually around March.
