Our skater friends from the Beach Bladers invite us to join them for their
First Sunday Skate and Brunch in the beautiful Rio Vista area of Fort Lauderdale!
This skating route winds through the streets of a beautiful neighborhood called Rio Vista in South East Fort Lauderdale. It's an area that has lots homes along the water lined up on various finger isle type streets between rows of waterways that separate them.
This is a great route that is very scenic and offers plenty of shortcuts for the less energetic skaters out there.
Even though this skate is NOT for beginners, if you can skate half way decent then you should be fine.
People on bikes are also welcome for this event so if you or your friends feel more comfortable on a bike don't be shy.
This skate usually draws around a dozen or so people on skates or bikes.
After the skate, we'll go to have brunch somewhere in the Las Olas area.
Location:
We meet in front of the Downtowner Saloon by the River.
