Joint Skate with the SoBe Rollers and Beach Bladers!
This skate usually draws up to 50 or more skaters from all over South Florida and afterward we head over to Lincoln Road to grab some Pizza at Pizza Rustica.
This skate is NOT for beginners!
You must be able to skate along at a decent pace in order keep up with this group since we skate at a speed of about of 10+ miles per hour.
People on bikes are also welcome for this event so if you or your friends feel more comfortable on a bike don't be shy.
At the intersection of Washington Avenue and Lincoln Road on Miami Beach. Look for the crowd of skaters near Fritz's Skate Shop.
We start getting together at 6:30 PM - we roll at 7:00 PM SHARP !!!
We must start promptly at 7:00 pm because the Police have to get back to their day jobs, they are all volunteers for the Friday Skate. Please be sure to thank them for their support.
Wearing a Helmet, Wrist Guards, Knee Pads and Elbow Pads is strongly recommended.
A Flash Light & Blinking Lights are a good idea after dark.
This skate route is about 10 to 12 miles long.
There will be a Water Break at midpoint.
Hope to see you there!
