Zend PHP 5.3 certified developer located in South Florida. Helping the PHP community grow and get a little more organized. I am a long distance runner, scuba diver, developer, and family man with a passion for technology.
Started using PHP at version 4 in 2002.
Moved to South Florida in 2000 with my employer and stuck around.
Self employed, working as a consultant and developer.
I'd like to help South Florida PHP users get a little more organized in the world-wide PHP community as a whole. As an architect in the market, I've hired and managed many developers who stay stagnant in their knowledge from lack of community.
The group is very active, and many members make it very dynamic. It covers basic to advanced topics and helps out all levels of developer.

Welcome aboard Adam! will you be able to attend a Tampa Bay meeting some day?
Welcome to PHPaaSA, hope to see you at one of our upcoming meet-ups. In the meantime, any questions or announcements, use our discussion boards.
I'm looking for someone local to Miami or Ft. Lauderdale to do a small project in php using either code igniter or Yii frameworks. The project itself should be relatively easy. Please give me a call at [masked] or send me an email at [masked]. I know this is not a job board, but i'm trying to find the easiest way to get in touch with some of the local avid php programmers who might be able to help.
Hi Adam,
"Reply" took me to your page. I'm not on this site much. So not sure if this is where the reply should go but... Yep, I was at the Conference. I got there on Tuesday (Didn't go to the tutorial day). I enjoyed the conference. I was the guy with the shaved head and goatee with a really small acer laptop. That's the best description of me from there that I can think of. I wasn't around much after sessions as I have friends & family in Chicago that I went to see in "the off time"
Hey Adam, great group. Im not sure if I can make it to the meetup, but do you have some extra time? Id like to discuss a quick project, maybe you can give me some quick php advice if you dont mind? thanks!
