The "South Metro Denver Chamber Cultural Business Alliance" group is composed of business professionals and non-profit organizations dedicated to the advocacy of minority-owned businesses. As a committee within the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce, it comprises of South Metro Chamber Members, major minority Chambers of Commerce, (OEDIT) Office of Economic Development and International Trade, diverse organizations, and businesses focused on diversity issues within business our business community. Initiatives • Increase awareness of the diversity of internal memberships • Increase awareness of the diversity of the South metro area • Develop cross-cultural partnerships with other “diverse chambers” • Increase minority membership • Provide an online resource for the minority membership and community • Create a partnership with SBDC • Create partnerships with internal committees • Create a purchasing initiative
