Welcome to South Metro Socials (SMS), a group for people who want to get out, have fun, and make new friends!  This group is for anyone, single, dating, or married.  Our group is open to all ages, since it's more important how old you feel than what the date on your driver's license reflects.

Some events will be intended for adults only, but some will be kid-friendly (if we don't specify whether or not kids are welcome & that's a concern for you, please ask!).  We may also schedule some 'singles only' or 'couples only' events, but that will be indicated if it applies.

Any member of the group can post an event. If there's something you think would be fun to do and others might enjoy it too, put it on the calendar! Please use common sense when creating a new event, and read the additional information on our message board regarding hosting an event.

SMS originated out of the South metro, however, events may be scheduled anywhere around the Twin Cities metro area or surrounding suburbs, in an effort to schedule quality events and maximize the number of people who might be interested in attending events.
