How long do you play until? I'm free at 2 oclock. I will be at the LA River center fron 10am to 2pm so I may be about 30 mins late.

For those who are planning a 28 hour marathon jam, sorry to disappoint. When I changed the start time to Saturday I neglected to change the end time as well. I was hoping, apparently in vain, that no one was sharp eyed enough to notice.

I've decided I"m going to save a spot for myself in case I don't work and am not lured to do work on my house. Will adjust rsvp if I decide not to.

I guess we can curl up and sleep in our guitar cases when we're not participating in the 28-hour marathon jam! -John

I love the title of this jam! I am debating signing up, but I'm slated to work this Saturday and have a ton of work to get done at my house. Have a great one!

I realize I wasn't clear on my mssg- I'm debating signing up IN CASE we do not have work going on. Work's slow right now.

P.S. Steve, I trust those harps are the kind that can join in on my blues and western swing tunes.

I'm looking forward to Saturday's meetup - I'll be sending Doug charts (by Friday afternoon) of some traditional blues and western swing tunes, plus a favorite swing tune from Gershwin, as interpreted by Howard Armstrong (aka "Louie Bluie"), that I've been wanting to do. Nora, hope you make it. I'll have to leave shortly after 5 pm for my regular monthly folk hoot group.

Looking forward to meeting you & jamming on my harps. Could my fiddle-playing wife come if I can talk her into it?

Since you asked, Doug, Sunday is better for me. In fact this Saturday event conflicts with another event I had been planning to attend. But I like these SPAM meetups too much to miss one! -John
