BHAS has voted to support the effort to Save the LBA Woods. There are about 150 acres of beautiful and valuable forest adjacent to the LBA Park that could otherwise become two separate housing developments. We'd like to get the word out, and what better way than getting out in nature this summer!
Enjoy a free 1 ½–hour medium-paced walk along well-maintained trails through these beautiful woods. As you meander, you’ll learn about the efforts to save these woods as a city park. Your guide will share his or her knowledge about the native trees and plants, birds, geology, and history of the 72-acre property (“Bentridge”).
Saturday Morning Tours at 10 a.m.
