Really enjoyed this plant sales event - if you bought a plant you got to go into gardens for free (had to get a rain check for that). Got a great deal on a Himalayan Honeysuckle - huge plant for 10.00, an unusual Hardy Fuschia that has hot pink lower petals with white upper petals and the twist of lime green on the tips for 7.00 and my fave - a large Kerria Japonica bush for 10.00 which I fell in love with. It is a deciduous shrub in the rose family native to China, Japan and Korea with beautiful yellow flowers resembling a dogwood. Can't wait to see how these do. Also won the plant raffle they had for a potted sedum garden. All in all a wonderful time was had!!

Sorry, I did mean to go but didn't notice Saturday ended at 3pm instead of 6pm. Will have to pay more attention to the time for the sales on the 3rd so I can make it out to one.

Noticed on their flyer for this event that you get FREE admission to the Garden with plant sale receipt!! It is normally $8.00 for General Admission (Kids under 12 are free).
