Subject: [South-Sound-Garden-Club] October's Meeting

Hi Everyone,
I wanted to see if there would be an interest in going to the Scholz Farm to check out their pumpkins and fresh produce and fruit, along all of the activities they have going on for our October meeting? This farm is located between Puyallup and Orting.

They also have a wonderful General Store with many great items to see (and eat)...

Fourth generation working farm. Shop in on-farm retail and produce store. We offer healthy vegetable starts, flowers, and hanging baskets for gardens or decks; fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables - rhubarb, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, green beans, and our famous sweet corn; fresh custom picked fruits and vegetables from our friends in Yakima; a quality line of canned jams, jellies, sauces, salsas, pickled vegetables, and fruits. Oct 1st: Fall harvest season - acres of u-pick pumpkins - free corn maze, farm animals, cute displays, painted pumpkins, gourds, squash, and other fall crops. Week days during October educational farm tours can be arranged. HOURS: Daily 9am to 6pm Jun - October. Final day open is Nov 1.

This place has people for miles around coming to see it - here is link to find out more about it...

Please let me know if there is an interest in this or if you still want the monthly meeting held at Watsons.
Also we have a new discussion board format, along with some new info on events going on in the area. Please go to the discussion boards or look to the right side of home page to see all of the new info..
