Bring your vegetarian kids, come out and have fun! :)

Are you vegetarian, vegan or a veggie wanna be? Do you have kids? We know how it is to eat out with them sometimes! Pure terror! Do you live in Tacoma, Federal Way, Gig Harbor or the surrounding areas? Well, bring your children to our Meetups where your kids can be kids and enjoy vegetarian food in good company.

I have 3 children myself - ages 15, 6 and 2! So we have all major age categories covered!

We will plan on a variety of activities like restaurant get togethers, potlucks, park play dates and whatever else you would like to do! Our success as a group can be improved by the input we get for ideas, reflecting what members want. If no one gives ideas, then I'm the one left planning - so if there's something you want, I need feedback :). I hope we can meet up about once to twice a month, depending on how many members we have and their needs.

GROUP POLICIES/RULES
No one wants more "rules" to have to follow in life, so I will keep these as brief and easy as possible, for the consideration of the Organizer and members:

1. Please RSVP yes, no or maybe for each event. Giving an explanation helps me understand members' needs more; however this is not required.

2. If you are coming to an event and have a question of any kind (are lost, will be late, very late, changed your mind in the very last minute, etc. etc.) I don't mind, PLEASE CALL MY CELL PHONE AT 817.715.8344. This will prevent neck strain on the Organizer who has to keep looking all around for you every 5 minutes, and will allow her to just relax and have a good time. I don't mind at all if you cannot make it - but just call me and talk or leave a message!! (Emailing is not effective as I may have already left for the event.)

3. Please do come to at least a few of the events some of the time, or withdraw as a member, so we won't be teased by your pretty profile pic and feel we can never meet you.

4. We've never had this problem before, but obviously, if you or your kids are sick, please do not come to an event as we all know what icky things are going around.

That's all the rules for now folks! Hopefully I will never have to make any more! I cannot wait to meet every one of you! :D
