The Sequalitchew Creek trail down to Puget Sound and remnants of the DuPont Powder works dock are open. This is a great trail -- very quiet and peaceful. It follows the gravel/paved trail through woods ending at Puget Sound with views of the Olympic Mountains and islands in the Puget Sound. Since this does go down to the Sound and then back up, it's rated a 2A, but the uphill is very gradual. We then finish up with a walk through a nearby neighborhood and by the original site of Fort Nisqually.
