Mitchell and I really enjoyed the session last evening, and it was well worth the trip from NJ and the usual challenges with parking. Liked the play list. For the next session, would suggest including a few more standards. Dr. Uke has both chord/lyric sheets and tab chord/lyric sheets, for baritone and regular uke chord versions, for one-pagers like Ain't Misbehavin', All of Me, Five Foot Two, The Glory of Love, and When You're Smiling. These, and many other tunes, can be played up-tempo.

Sadly I will not be able to attend this time. Work getting in the way. I really hope that another Ukulele eve is planned again soon. Have fun!

Hey everyone. I am new to the ukulele group and just wanted to know if there is a fee or donation needed...

just a suggestion. it would be so very helpful to beginners like myself to have the pdf song files posted in "Files" ahead of time so that we could print them out, practice the songs and bring the song sheets with us to the jam. (I can be hard to see some of the lyrics & chords on the screen.)

I will be there, fellow Ukeists, but very rusty. Been very busy and have had no time to sit for a moment with my trusty tenor.

I play baritone uke (Luna High Tide Zebra), mostly standards [masked]) and Beatles ballads. Find playing the uke a terrific hobby. Favorite uke group is Philadelphia Ukulele Orchestra, based in Haddonfield.
