Blissful Banana Cafe

I really like this place! We met here before and the staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Their menu is not huge but each time that I have been there they have been very accommodating at alterations and their food tasted pretty darn good to me. They have gluten free options on their menu as well. I will note that their service can be a bit slow but we are there to socialize as well so that should not be a problem. I have also had their spaghetti squash special and it was very good!

AND their banana bliss is YUMMY! They offer a free taste. A guilt free dessert is always a great option!

Here is a recent article about the place:

Please note: I have not inquired about ingredient's lists or hidden animal ingredients so extra puritan vegans may want to check into that for themselves. I personally read all labels when shopping for the home but am a bit more realistic on my expectations when dining out, especially since we are south side Chicago where the word meatless is still considered a profanity at some places. The fact that they know what the word vegan means and make attempts to get that out to the table when requested is commendable and a step in the right direction.

I hope to see you there!

It started to snow pretty hard as I was leaving. It's a 30 mile trip. So I'm not going to make it tonight. I hope to make the next event.
