How do you use CouchDB?

I use CouchDB to overcome unreliable or expensive networks. I write software for some of the more remote parts of the world, ranging from the far north of Canada to rural Africa, places where the 'cloud' just doesn't cut it.

What tools/frameworks do you use with CouchDB?

Kanso, various client-side frameworks (backbone.js etc), and Node.js to plumb things together.

Do you use other NoSQL tools?

Not professionally, but I've been known to tinker.

Are you interested in "big data" applications with CouchDB, or more normal web development?

I'm interested in everything to do with CouchDB, but my work revolves around using it as a way of moving data around asynchronously.
