Reservations are made the morning (before noon) of the event. Please have your RSVP updated. If you aren't sure about attending an event, it's always best to say NO then contact me closer to the start time to be added as a YES.
Please be mindful of the servers working with our large groups. Fifteen percent is the minimum one should tip. Many times the establishment will automatically add in an 18% - 20% tip because of the size of our group. I most often tip 20%.
Try to bring cash just in case the restaurant gives us a hard time about splitting the bill up & we all want to use a credit card.
We will always have an hour "lee way" on your arrival time, meaning, we will start the event at 6 p.m. at the BAR of the restaurant (if they have one) for a drink and maybe catch the tail end of a happy hour that they may offer.
Plan to arrive no later than 6:55 p.m. so we can all sit down together at 7 p.m. Many establishments will NOT seat our party unless 80-95% of us are there. If you are late, keep in mind that it will hold up the entire group from sitting down to eat.
If there is ever an emergency that you need to contact me, email me from the meetup site, as I have the capability to check it while at a restaurant.
Finally, if you RSVP yes to events but don't show up TWO times, I will remove you from the group. I welcome you to re-join the group whenever you have more time in your schedule . . . so don't worry--I won't block you! We are just trying to get a mature/serious group of people that are courteous about reservations being made at restaurants.
