Super Bowl XLVII is in New Orleans this year, so the perfect theme for this very cool group of party goers is Mardi Gras ~ Cajun style! :)

I'll commit to one very large pot of chicken and sausage gumbo & the makings for smores fireside in the backyard.

Everyone bring your favorite beverage plus one item to share (post in comments what you plan to bring).

10 Guests ~  bring one appetizer/snack to share

6 guests ~ dessert

2 guests ~ paper plates, napkins, bowls, cups & plastic utensils (forks & spoons)

1 guest ~ non-alcoholic beverages (water & soda)

Optional participation ~ football pool!! Can we have a volunteer to coordinate one!?

Kick-off is 5:30pm CST

Infamous? Notorious? Actually, I am sweeter than sugar and gentle as a lamb. I belong to many groups but I think I found out which ones are the best last night.

I was planning to do a pool if there's enough interest. I was thinking the following:
    $1/square
Squares are selected without the numbers assigned.
Numbers are assigned at random during half-time
    $25 for the half-time score.
$75 for the end score. I don't want to flood everyone's email with reply messages, so if don't like the idea, send me a an email directly through meetup
