1st International Tabletop Day - Gaming All Day

International TableTop Day is a celebration for all fans of tabletop gaming. A single day where the whole world is brought together in a common purpose of spending time together and having fun. This idea came from and the great people over at Geek & Sundry.

Games played will range from simple family games & Euros to rail games & wargames. It is not required, but please feel free to bring games of your own to share.

We will meet directly across the courtyard in The Gallery. There will be a sign displayed to make finding us easier.

This event is FREE WITH RSVP but there is

*The No Outside Food & Drink rule above is heavily emphasized and will be enforced because this is what allows us to use the space for free. To supplement the cost of letting us use the space for free, The Coffee Connection (TCC) expects most of us to patronize TCC.

The Coffee Connection has food and drinks available. Alternatively, TCC has been nice enough to offer us sandwiches from Whole Foods for pre-order (Pre-ordering is now closed)

Disclaimer: If you pre-ordered a sandwich and do not cancel your order before the cutoff time (Thursday, 28 March @ Noon) and do not show up, you must still pay for the sandwich/wrap. We will find you!

PARKING:  Street parking & free parking in the lot just South across the street is available .

Overall it was a good event. I skipped the after party at Denny's when it became apparent that there'd be more Lords of Waterdeep, which I am still burned out on.

Has anybody played Arkham Horror? One of my regular RPG players brought a copy one night last year and it was a blast (especially for fans of HPL). I've been thinking of getting a copy of the game, but with my regular group I probably would not get to whip it out very often. So I was wondering if somebody showed up in the early afternoon with a game, would there usually be a table free and people ready to play something, or is the set-up and schedule pretty solid in stone first thing?

I have yet to play Arkham Horror and, as a HPL fan, I would love to. I don't have a copy but if someone brings it I will play it. As for scheduling; There is none. Tables are free for anyone to use and start a game throughout the day so feel free to bring something you would like to play.

What alternative is TCC giving for those who are celebrating Passover and can't eat bread products?

    March 25, 2013

    • Unseen V.

Unfortunately, all that they offer contains bread and grain. There are places to eat nearby.
