Hey, my name is Ed and this is just to let everyone know of the slight update we have for the meetup. This meetup will still be scheduled as planned, but Aaron will be attending a prior engagement that day and will arrive around 8:30pm. So for this meetup, I will be there in Aaron's stead to meet all our members who are going to be there.

I'll be at the coffee house around 5:45pm and try to find a suitable space for us to meet together. I will also be bringing 'Risk: Metal Gear Solid' boardgame.

Please feel free to bring any boardgames you would like to play that night :)

My phone number is [masked]. Text/call me when you arrive at the coffee house if you have any trouble finding me. I'll try to have my Risk boardgame out on the table so it'll be easier to spot me.

I hope to see you all there!

(Btw, the coffee is AMAZING there!)

This is the boardgame I will be having on the table so it'll be easier to find me:

The purpose of this meeting will be more to organize and help re-launch this group than to just play games.

The Catalina Coffee House is a great place for a small group to meet, but I want to organize this group into a much larger setting. I will be proposing possible locations and dates for upcoming new events as soon as I can, but would like to gather suggestions, and meet with as many current members as possible to find out where you would like this group to go in the future.

If enough members express interest in attending we will move the location to a larger venue so please come take part in saving this group!

You will be able to find me wearing a shirt with this on it:

We played Risk: Legacy for the first time and it was a blast!

I had a good time meeting Aaron, Ed, David, and Jeffrey to play Risk Legacy. I like the plan to meeting every two weeks alternately at Comic Bug and at Catalina Coffee. I will be back--if only to get my name on a continent at some point! :-)

At this venue we will most likely need to split into smaller groups.

I will be coming late, but I will bring Dominion, Magic, and Stratego and I know someone will be bringing some version of Risk. Risk: Metal Gear I think.

What games will be available? will we break into smaller groups if there are a lot of people?

Unfortunately I have my son this weekend, so I won't make it, but I vote to keep it at Catalina.

I'm new, but I plan on being a regular attendee from now on. While I don't think I have any say in the group's future, I'm available to play games if there's room.

I'd also like to keep it at the coffee shop. I definitely prefer a quieter setting with plenty of free parking.

Moving does not interest me. If most peole are going to the con, then I will see you next time.

It has just been pointed out that Orccon is happens this weekend so maybe we should just move the location to the hotel lobby?

I will DEFINITELY be there! I really want to get these board game nights rolling.
