WSOP Final Day

Day 2 will have a full day of play.  The average stacks coming into day 2 will be 50,000, and the blinds will be reset at the beginning of day 2, as follows:  1000/1000 (special level), 1000/2000, 1500/3000, 2000/4000, etc (from there following our normal structure).  This will return the play back to deep-stack for a few levels, allowing players lots of room to play.

We have generated 4 packages with a close 5th.  We have enough for the 5th ticket but not the travel expenses.  Please think about how you want to vote as it will be put to a majority vote as to how those monies get paid out.  Ticket only no travel expenses.  Everyone chips in an extra few bucks to bring the total up to $2,000 (we have about $1,600) or the bubble just takes the cash.

WIth the combination of Day 1A, Day 1B, and Day 1C, we expect to generate between 3 and 8 WSOP tickets.  Day 2 will be played May.  The day 2 winners will receive a seat in a $1,500 WSOP buy-in as well as $500 cash for hotel and expenses.  Any extra prize-pool short of the $2000 ticket cost will be used to pay the "bubble" position at Day 2.  As usual, all of the prize pool goes back to the players as we take no rake.  You will not be receiving cash unless it's the bubble pay out or travel expense, all other monies will be in the form of a ticket to an actual event in the 2014 WSOP tour.  You can sell your ticket on your own if you so choose but you can not "sell" your seat to our home events.  For ex: you place in one of the day 1a/b/c events, you are the one who has to play on the final day(2).

You must be 21 yrs. of age or older.  If I don't know you I will ask for your ID and will make a copy of it for reference.

As always, please bring your own beverage and a snack to share.

Any questions please contact me.  Let's have some fun with this one!

One of the winning members ask that I not post their name, so I won't list the winners.
Also, I won't be hosting from here again until we get our electronic game up and running. Very disheartening but I found marked cards from the final WSOP table. I put so much time, money and effort into this group, I'm pissed that a few are ruining it for all. I obviously don't have suspicion toward all of you but since I don't know who did it I have to be cautious for the group. This isn't anything new, cheating has been around for years but I put so much into this series that I'm finally done with my kindness until we get the ipads and apps for future games. If any of you would like to privately donate towards the purchasing of ipads please contact me. Jason is willing to purchase one, we will need 3-4 total. I can also host a charity type tourney to raise funds as well. I apologize for not congratulating everyone but I don't know who not to congratulate.

Deborah, I can definitely feel your pain about the marked cards and other forms of cheating which I've been able to detect in the past. It can really feel like a personal attack after investing so much for the players benefit and I was devastated when I first found similar evidence.Since I play more hands, I'm also the victim to cheating more often and lost plenty but what scares me more is that cheating can easily kill an otherwise healthy home game and continue to do so until wiping out poker in an entire region. Games have been quickly dying out in the area in just the last few months so I applaud you for taking action before too much damage can be inflicted on your games as well. BTW I think I may have solutions to some of the glitches in the app and even with the misdeal issue. I'll drop you an email once I do a little more research. On a more positive note, I think that if we work together and get the support of the players behind us, I'm confident we can reverse this trend.

Hi Arthur and Jason. I've contacted the developer in the past for getting the misdeal issue fixed as well as a couple other minor concerns. The issue is that this app is not his main job so it's a lower priority. I think that sending requests in can't hurt though and maybe hell notice more interest and invest more time. For now I'm planning on creating a work around and mabe post it on the web so linking to the page to re-deal a hand won't be that difficult. I may contact you through DSP since it should have both em addresses for both of you. I also made a recent post that's kind on my site about the app and what I've learned. Just a warning, It's long and probably very boring knowing me.

Hey guys, please remember when posting here it spams the entire SBPP group. We (me inc.)should try and keep most of our posts specific to the game. Thanks a lot, I'm sure others would appreciate it.
