Almaden Quicksilver Hacienda Entrance
We are still planning on going ahead with this hike. A few showers are predicted for Saturday but we are hoping it will be after the hike.
Hike Description: Hacienda Trail to Mine Hill Loop - The trail begins at the Hacienda Park Entrance to the park. Turn right on the Hacienda Trail and begin the hike with a steep climb up the Hacienda Trail. Make a right on the Virl O. Norton trail which will lead you to the Mockingbird Hill Park Entrance. From the Mockingbird Hill Park we will connect to the Hacienda Trail to the Mine Hill Trail and make a loop at the English Camp Trail which will connect us to the Deep Gulch Trail and back to the parking lot. (The Randol Trail is closed for the season so we have slightly modified our route. )
Length and Elevation: This hike is approximately 3 hours long. Elevation 800 feet.

Gayle GustafsonGreat group on the hike but I found it somewhat more challenging with hills than I expected. Would do it again though.
