I enjoy Tai Chi as exercise, philosophy, spirituality, a path to enlightenment, martial art, a path to balance, and not the least, a way to meet other like-minded friends. I enjoy introducing tai chi to others, and sharing my enthusiasm! - Sam

Where have you studied tai chi before, and for how long?

Learned Yang long form with ttopa.com (palo alto) starting in 2001, a little while with Gordon Feng at Sutro Heights Park in SF on Saturdays, then in 2007 discovered Zhao Bao tai chi with SiFu Peng Wen (Wayne).

How did you come to try / adopt tai chi? (I'm very curious how people make this discovery.)

was injured playing VB in 1995, and had to stay off my legs for 1 year. Tried TKD in 1996, got to brown belt, but was getting injured, and that kept interfering with practice. Wanted something I could do forever, without injurious interruptions

How long does it take for you to get to this park on Saturday mornings?
