Miami Bellydance Event featuring Fahtiem

Kismet Collaboration:  Fan Veils & Veils

Proper stage presentation and the use of props make a performance memorable and unique.  This year’s workshop will explore two unique props;  fan veils which will be taught by Lamis and lengthwise veil technique and dynamic which will be taught by Kira.  Stretches will be led by Kahreen, and the class will give direction on how to use these props and enhance a performer’s dynamics.  Having many years of  study, Kira and Lamis have studied various styles of Middle Eastern dance and are always striving to “think and perform outside of the box”.  Please bring veils and fan veils to workshop, fan veils will be available to borrow.

Lamis is an award winning performer who is affectionately called “Queen of the Veils”.  Kira and Kahreen have received lifetime achievement awards from Zaghareet Magazine,  MECDA & the Worldwide Foundation for Humanity, and have been performing, teaching classes, sponsoring workshops and shows in Miami, Fl. for the past thirty-six years, for more information, please contact

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
