South Florida Runs will be holding an 8-week training program for the first time or novice 5K runner. Thought you couldn't do it? YES YOU CAN! We will be starting the training program some where around mid September which will prepare you to run in the November 16th Coconut 5K, www.coconut5k.com . You will participate in group runs, individual runs, and have access to a mentor as well. The training plan will be rigorous but at an enjoyable pace. You should be able to run about 1.5 miles to start the program so if you're not there yet you will have plenty of time to get there by mid September.
