Another attempt by the CFR to paint the JBS as "loonies". Union County NJ street fair gets a mention.

I hope Art Thompson gave him a free copies of The Shadows of Power and The Creature from Jekyll Island. Sounds like the writer needs a dose of the truth.
The voice-over on the video really conveyed "incredulous" and looney, too. |

I sent the NYT writer note with the following Rockefeller quote, and advised him that he needed to do more research if he is going to maintain his credibility in the new media age.
"Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists' and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure - one world, if you will. If that is the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it." |

My response:
Dear Mr. Dyer: The column may have benefited from more research; for example, I could have more thoroughly explored the society's contorted logic for opposing much of the civil rights movement. But on this note, the Rockefeller note, I did know about that paragraph in Rockefeller's book, and I did not say that Thompson wrote it. I would imagine that it is taken out of context, the way that Mr. Welch's words about Eisenhower have been taken out of context. Take good care and I hope you had a good Fourth of July. Dan Barry Hi, Your article about the John Birch society could have used a little more research. On page 405 of David Rockefeller's book "Memoirs" you will find the following: "Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists' and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure - one world, if you will. If that is the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it." David Rockefeller wrote this. Art Thompson did not. ARTICLE REFERENCED (if any): None Imagination! From a reporter. |

As soon as you smell the financially and morally bankrupt NYT, rest assured it will be a hatchet job for alleged anti semitism and racism. Ye shall know them by their fruit!
Why would Art Thompson even give these guys the time of day. Does he think for one minute they will write anything positive. |
