South Bay Friends is a Social Group for individuals and families who live in or near Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, Torrance, Hawthorne and Lawndale areas. If you are looking to meet others outside of the usual bar scene you have come to the right place. South Bay Friends connects single, married individuals with fun social events to build friendships. Activities that you will find on our site will range from Game night, Hiking, Biking, Dinners, Comedy events, Ladies Nights, Men Social, Spa Day, Group Travel and more. I started the group because I noticed there wasn't a Meet Up group that incorporate various fun social activities for Single and Married People in South Bay.

A couple of reminders based on our experience so far:

1) Please come on out! If you RSVP, make sure you come out. Life happens though. If you can't make it please contact the Activity Organizer (not always the Meet Ups organizers) and update your RSVP. This makes sure we're not waiting for folks when your plans have to change. Three "no shows" = out of the group. This is to make organizing easier.

2) Be respectful -- we're open to everyone and anyone interested in connecting with new friends and neighbors. That makes us all different. If you're looking for a homogeneous, one way of looking at the world group, we won't be a good fit.

3) Have fun!  Leave the serious stuff behind and join us for a great time.
