Why are you interested permaculture?

Permaculture just makes sense on many different levels. Sustainability, economic and self reliance It's good for the environment and really a return to the old ways that have been tried and true for centuries with knowledge and experience passed down and aquired along the way.

What is your experience with permaculture?

I practice what I can in my small yard in Campbell and try to stay organic as much as possible. I try to enhance my experience trying out new methods and ideas each year. I've read " A Guide to Home Based Permaculture" and really enjoyed it. It gave me a few ideas to try out and I'm looking forward to reading more and attending any local classes or workshops on the subject. The Solar Living Institute has some great classes, but it is a bit far for me to travel on a regular basis.

How do you want to contribute to this group?

I'm happy to share my thoughts and experience with others who are interested. I'm willing to work hard in creating local spaces and would do my best to contribute time, energy, supplies and resources to the group as needed.

Hello! I live in Campbell and am very interested in Permaculture gardening, sustainablilty, local living and transition. I was excited to find a fairly local group on this subject and am looking forward to meeting other like minded folks and sharing.
