Beckie...Thank you for being a proactive host. I am so grateful for the time you invest in this venture. I felt like there were a couple of adversative types. Very different agendas then the SAP membership and meetings as a whole. Glad we had our (new/ used) guys in the polo shirts. They had great, accurate, succinct, understandable information. Cooler heads prevailed.

Well, the bad news is that Dave's shift has been changed for the time being, and he isn't able to present the class at our July meeting. The good news is that as soon as he's able to attend our meeting he'll present the class for us.
I've been thinking what to do instead for the July meeting, and here's my plan. I think we should go over the first several articles of the Bill of Rights, and discuss them. Do each of us know what our response should be if we're pulled over by a LEO and told they wish to search our vehicle? Do you know what your response should be if there's a "shelter in place" situation like there was in Boston after the recent bombing, and the police came to your door? We can't defend our rights if we don't know what they are.
Also, how far are you willing to go to defend your (and our) rights? Are you willing to be arrested? Are you willing to be tasered? Are you willing to die?
The meeting's still on, and I hope to see each of you on the 25th.

This month Dave will be doing a workshop on how to make the trip wire warning devices using rat traps. Each of us will need to bring some of our own materials and tools. Stay tuned to this thread, because Dave will be posting a list of what we should bring with us.
Hope to see you on the 25th!
